When McAfee Privacy Service 8.x* and Intel Viiv Software 1.5 are installed on the same system, the Intel application becomes inaccessible. This issue arises with both McAfee Privacy Service and the McAfee Internet Security Suite.
Workaround: This issue is expected to be fixed in a McAfee patch automatically pushed out to users of McAfee Privacy Service, and McAfee Internet Security Suite. The version number for this patch update is 8.1.0.136.
